How many times have you seen an ad that promises you the way to Internet riches, usually associated with a key phrase like how to make easy money online or easy money on autopilot or whatever the junk topic of the day is?
What you may also want to ask yourself is how many of those marketers out there that claim to be making this easy money and are willing to, out of the goodness of their own hearts of course, show you the way? And just remember, you probably can do this on autopilot and even for Free!
Of course all of this is complete B.S. - a complete sham or scam or whatever it is that you may wish to call it. Some marketers out there are able to make a lot of money because there is a segment of the population, we call this a market that is willing to believe any hyped up story about Internet riches and these marketers set up advertising campaigns around those willing to take a risk for those overnight riches.
By the way, does every single "guru" out there have a "rags to riches" story? I was homeless until I did whatever. I was living in a car until I made it big from writing articles like crazy. These are the claims that I hear from so many out there promoting the "next big thing." No one ever comes out and talks about having to pull the silver spoon from their mouth and working on their mac.
OK, OK, let's move on.
How to make easy money online, that is the topic of this article, so how is it done? I can sum it all up in a single word actually and that word is work. Yep, good old-fashioned work ethic. Not too sexy, but I assure you that it still stands head and shoulders above the latest guru marketing madness technique or software.
For whatever reason, people come to the Internet believing that all they have to do is set up a website or a blog, promote it a bit on their Facebook page (with 273 friends) and they should be making money within a week or two. Wow, I wish it were that easy.
A quick disclaimer by the way, if you are serious about learning how to make easy money online then you are probably going to have to find a different article and for sure a different mentor out there, because I don't know how to do that. Well, to a certain extent I don't know how to do that.
What I mean by the last comment is that for me, marketing online and generating an income online is easy. You see, I worked for about twenty years in the construction industry and in the plumbing trade in particular, so for me, Internet marketing and promotion is relatively simple.
Does this mean you really don't have to work all that much? No. I didn't say that I didn't work, I said that for me, and my own unique perspective, marketing online is generally "easy." How much do I work? More than an hour a day! I will generally, on an average week, put in about sixty hours into my online efforts creating articles (like this one), blog posts, videos and even podcasts. This requires work.
I haven't even gone into discussing the technical aspects of SEO or search engine optimization and link building. There is actually quite a bit of effort that goes into every single blog post that you see and that is usually the case that most of the time people will see the result, but they will never see or understand what went into the process to achieve a specific result.
The internet is just like any other location around the world where you want to set up a business. Is it simpler? I don't know about simpler or easier, but I do know that it is much less expensive. I can be up and running with my "store" for less than twenty bucks. Try to find that real-estate in the "real" world.
If you are really going to get out there and build up your brand and an online following for your business then I assure you that you are going to have to do a lot of work, you are going to have to put in the time that you need to see your efforts to fruition.
With that said if you are serious about how to make easy money online then you are just fooling yourself or you need to come in with the perspective of an overworked construction worker that knows what busting your butt is all about.
